"Speciesism" Premiere at Fairfield Woods Branch Library, Oct. 1

The Fairfield Public Library Woods Branch will be showing the Connecticut premiere of “Speciesism: The Movie” on Wednesday, October 1. The film will be showing at 7 pm at the Fairfield Public Library Woods Branch, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.

Join the library for the premiere of this thoughtful and entertaining documentary film the Huffington Post says is “capable of fundamentally changing the worldview of its audience”. Director Mark Devries sets out to investigate the secretive world of factory farming and in doing so, introduces people to a movement that argues we can no longer afford to adopt the philosophy that humans are more important than members of other species. This film is not rated.
