Third Lecture in Evenings of Wellness Series, Nov. 5

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center will host its third lecture in the series of eight “Evenings of Wellness” on November 5. The third lecture is: Supplements: Are They Really Working for You?

This lecture will be led by Dr. Veronica Waks, MD and she will discuss the following important topics regarding supplements:

  • Vitamin and Mineral Supplements.
  • Are They Effective?
  • Dosages.
  • Food First.

Dr. Veronica Waks, MD is a licensed naturopathic physician. She combines a contemporary naturopathic approach to healing with insights of a medical doctor.  She uses the latest techniques of botanical, physical, and behavioral medicine to help her patients regain and maintain their health, a process she encourages her patients to be actively involved in.  She graduated from the University of Bridgeport, College of Naturopathic Medicine.  She received her MD degree from the Vladivostok Medical University.
