Dead Tribute Band Terrapin to Play New Haven May 2

Fairfield County-based Grateful Dead Tribute Band Terrapin will hit the road this summer, performing at clubs and festivals throughout Connecticut.

The band features founding members Matthew Winthrop of Westport on Keyboards and Vocals, Geoff Schneider of Wilton on Lead Guitar and Vocals and Paul Dunay of Greenwich on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals as well as JP Goegen ( of Stamford ) on Drums and Ric Lubell on Bass and vocals.

Terrapin will offer up a selection of Grateful Dead classics as well as some surprise goodies from other artists such as Bob Marley and the Rolling Stones. Included in the production is a fantastic LED lighting show

The band, which has played over 60 shows last during the last two years, is excited about being back on the road. The Spring /Summer Tour kicked off in Port Chester, NY at Garcia’s at the Capitol Theatre on April 1 will continue all summer with stops in Westport, Fairfield, White Plains, NY, Norwalk, Stamford, Black Rock and more to be announced. “We’ve had such a great turnout at Fairfield County-based venues, that when Stella Blues called, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to head up north to New Haven and expand our footprint,” said Matthew Winthrop, one of the founding members of the band.
