The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s State Historic Preservation Office is holding a public workshop about the State Register of Historic Places on Friday, June 26, from 1 pm to 3 pm at the State Historic Preservation Office, One Constitution Plaza, 2nd Floor, Hartford.
Topics will include information about what the State Register is, how to prepare a State Register nomination form and potential financial incentives.
All members of the public are welcome including property owners, particularly owners of historic homes who may be interested in applying for the historic homes tax credit program, as well as historic preservation professionals, municipal representatives and community groups.
