Reception for Amy Dolego's Photo Art Opening at Pequot Library, Sept. 17

Southport, CT – Easton Fine Art photographer, Amy Dolego, has a one-woman exhibition, "Through My Lens," in The Perkin Gallery at Pequot Library, from Tuesday, September 8 - Wednesday, October 7, 2015, with an Opening Reception on Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 5:30-7:30pm. This exhibition is open during normal library hours and is free and open to the public. The works on exhibit will include flower portraits, still life and landscape.

Amy Dolego is a Fine Art photographer and the founder of Winton Studios, a commercial photography firm located in Easton, CT. She was the winner of “Best in Show” at Pequot Library’s 17th Annual Art Show in 2014. As an architectural photographer and member of AIAP, Dolego specializes in creating captivating images for architects, interior designers, garden/landscape designers and real estate professionals.        

She combines 20 years of experience in commercial and residential design in the United States with a photography degree from the renowned Paris Institute of Photography (Speos) in Paris, France. At Speos, she was educated by leading professionals in different photographic genres including fine art, fashion, studio, reportage, documentary and still life. In addition, Ms. Dolego learned printing techniques from George Fevres, a founder and the former director of black and white photography at Paris’s Pictorial Lab (PICTO) and the personal printer for Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau and Josef Koudelko. 

Initially a Fine Art and Fashion photographer, Ms. Dolego has worked and exhibited extensively both in the US and in Europe. In 2009, she opened Winton Studios, a firm dedicated to helping accomplished design professionals communicate their vision through photography. Her images have appeared in articles and on covers of magazines such as American Art Collector, New England Magazine, Venü, Cottages and Gardens, New England Home, Life at Home, Fairfield Magazine, Builder magazine and Westport magazine, as well as major newspapers such as The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal online editions. Ms. Dolego’s Paris fashion images appeared in Atelier Chardon Savard No. 6 and she was selected as a photographer to cover the 2008 National Democratic Convention.
