Fairfield, CT - Coyotes were not always native to the Connecticut area, however, they are now a part of our CT ecosystem. The Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, will be hosting Frank Vincente of the Wild Dog Foundation on Sunday, October 18 at 2:00 pm to discuss how coyotes can benefit our suburban ecology.
Learn from this nonprofit wildlife education group how to act during an encounter with a coyote and how we may be unwittingly enticing these animals into our neighborhoods. Ultimately, Vincente will explain how we can live in harmony with coyotes. Frank Vincenti founded the Wild Dog Foundation in 1996 and has been active in wolf restoration, the conservation of endangered species like African Wild Dogs and educating locally on fox and coyote populations.
