Getting Ready for College Program at Fairfield Library

Fairfield, Conn. - Hey Teens! What can you do this summer to improve your chances of getting into the college of your dreams? Or to give you the practical experience that will give you a boost before you start courses in the fall? Find out at this informative session with Alice Gorman who runs the College & Career Center at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. The group will meet on Tuesday, February 16 from 7:00–8:30 pm at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  igh school students and their parents are welcome. Registration is requested.

Presenter Gorman helps students in their college searches and part-time/summer job hunts at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. She also coordinates the Senior Internship Program, sending 200+ students into the workplace for the final month of school. She was Director of the Career Planning Center at Fairfield University for eleven years and has spent the majority of her career helping young people discover their passion, develop their skills and make good career and educational choices.
