Fairfield, Conn. – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Norma Pfriem Breast Center invite the public to an Evening of Wellness Lecture on "Diabetes: Types, Causes and Symptoms" on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the Pfriem Center, 111 Beach Rd., 2nd floor, 6-7 pm. This event is free and open to all.
The featured speaker is Danielle Benaviv-Meskin, MD … Assistant Professor, Netter School of Medicine; Medical Director of Pri-Med Osteoporosis Center; Attending Physician, Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.
Dr. Benaviv-Meskin whose specialty is endocrinology and diabetes, received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. Her Board Certifications include: American Board of Internal Medicine (Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism) and (Internal Medicine), Certified Clinical Densitometrist. Her professional memberships include: American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), The Endocrine Society, and International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), Fairfield County Media Association (FCMC) and CT State Medical Society (CSMS).
This lecture is the fifth in the 2015-2016 Evenings of Wellness Lecture Series hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Norma Pfriem Breast Center as a service to chamber members and the local community.
Under this topic, Dr. Benaviv-Meskin will share important information about:

- The Causes, Symptoms & Treatments.
- Living with Diabetes.
