Chris Coogan Jazz Quartet to Play MAC, May 20

Milford, CT - The Milford Fine Arts Council Performance Coffeehouse, at 40 Railroad Ave., Milford, CT, will present The Chris Coogan Quartet on Friday, May 20, at 8pm. Chris Coogan is a jazz and gospel musician who has played with such artists as Ben E. King, Bette Midler, Donna Summer, Kristen Chenoweth, Dave Liebman and Darlene Love. He will be joined by John Mobilio (bass), Jim Royle (drums) and Jim Clark (sax).

As a composer, Chris Coogan won the John Lennon Songwriting He has performed at The Silvermine Tavern in Fairfield County, Blue Note in Manhattan and the Montreaux Jazz Festival. 

Tickets for the Chris Coogan Performance Coffeehouse are $15.00 for MFAC members and $20 for non-members.  The show takes place on Friday, May 20.  Doors open at 7:30PM and the show starts at 8PM.  Come and enjoy an intimate performance in a friendly environment.  Snacks, beer and wine will be available for a nominal charge.  The coffee is free.  For tickets, go to www.milfordarts.org or call (203) 878-6647 (Tues-Fri 10-5 pm).  Reservations are highly recommended, as Coffeehouse events sell out quickly.
