Trumbull, CT - New college graduates in Connecticut will once again be given the opportunity to connect with the state’s top employers at the Second Annual RecruitCT (www.RecruitCT.com) Job Fair, being held at the Trumbull Marriott on June 10th.
The event is free for job seekers, and hundreds of recent college grads are expected to attend. In its second year, the event is designed to help graduates of Connecticut’s 30+ colleges and universities, as well as new grads who grew up and were educated in the state’s school systems, find a great job in Connecticut.
The career fair will be produced in partnership with the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) (www.CBIA.com), and is slated to be the largest career fair of its kind in the area. The 2015 event attracted hundreds of job seekers, as well as over 80 employers looking to fill more than 700 open positions within their collective firms.
Over 90 percent of employers surveyed after the 2015 event indicated that they were likely to hire a candidate they met at RecruitCT.
“Connecticut is known for its impressive education system. Our challenge, however, has always been to make sure that talent stays here after graduation,” said CBIA president and CEO, Joe Brennan.
“This event facilitates the interaction of employers and job seekers to better showcase and match outstanding job opportunities that exist in Connecticut with the tremendous talent being produced.”

RecruitCT registration is now open for both exhibitors and job seekers, and a sampling of the businesses already registered to exhibit at the event include Vineyard Vines, Stamford Health Medical Group, Indeed, Base Technologies, RBC Bearings, Sikorsky Credit Union, and event sponsors Star 99.9, OperationsInc, and FairfieldCountyJobs.com. Exhibitors will be looking to fill positions in all areas of their businesses, including accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, administration, IT, and health services.
