Pequot Library to Hold Annual 4th of July Bike Parade & Lawn Games

Southport, CT – Pequot Library’s Annual 4th of July Bike Parade and Lawn Games will again commence at the Five Corners in Southport Village with decorated bikes, scooters, and wagons on Monday, July 4, 2016, at 10:00am. A street parade will weave its way to the Great Lawn of Pequot Library where fun and games begin. Kids can get their faces painted, participate in traditional sack races, a hula hoop contest, Revolutionary Relay, crafts and an American History trivia contest. Hot dogs and drinks will be available and no registration required.

This event is free and open to the public of all ages. Enjoy a community tradition in the spirit of the day on Pequot Library’s Great Lawn.
