Friday Night Young Artists' Cafe Begins at Pequot Library Aug. 19

Southport, CT – Practice your musical scores, rehearse reading your original poetry out loud, break out your pointe shoes: Pequot Library and Music for Youth invite young singers, instrumentalists, ensembles, writers and dancers will share their gifts on stage during the Friday Night Young Artists' Café, starting on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

Or the Guptara or Winner twins, or like Alec Greven who published “How to Talk to Girls” when he was 9-years-old? Aspiring to be like singer Carly Rose Sonenclar, dancer Misty Copeland, or Eragon author Christopher Paolini? Participating in the Friday Night Young Artists' Café at Pequot Library can help you practice, perform, build a creative network, and enjoy spending time with other young artists.

Are you a . . . musician . . . dancer . . . writer . . . singer? Bring your talents to this monthly café and perform on stage! There is a $5.00 cover charge at the door which includes food and drink.
