Getting Started With Your Family Tree at Pequot Library

Southport, CT -- Tracking your family history? Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, genealogists Betty Oderwald and Bill Stansfield can help point you in the right direction, at this month's Genealogy Roundtable at Pequot Library. They will recommend books, websites, and new strategies to help your search. You will also receive a packet of materials that will aid you in further research.

You will learn:
-How to get started
-How to stay organized
-Which are the best sources to use
-What is online and what is not

For those who have already started, the collection will be open for browsing, and genealogist experts will be available to answer questions.
