Fairfield, CT - National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week is November 6 through 14. On Friday, November 4 from 3:30 to 5:30, the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road, is kicking off the week with a Pet Shower for the Fairfield Animal Shelter.
Join the fun in the Periodicals Room at the Main Library and listen to some light piano jazz, enjoy some refreshments and view pet photos from The Fairfield Magazine photo contest. Items that the Fairfield Animal Shelter can use are dry dog/cat food and treats, toys, cat litter, grooming supplies, towels and blankets, animal beds, collars, leashes, pooper scoopers, crates or cages, and flea/tick spray. If you wish to donate, but can’t attend the shower, please bring your donations to the Main Library, attention Jane Siefert before November 4.
