"Incorporating Art Into Your Home" Talk at Fairfield Library, Nov. 29

Fairfield, CT -- The public is invited to a free talk at the Fairfield Library on November 29 at 7 pm by Liz Tardif and Connie Cooper on "Incorporating Art Into Your Home”. It will take place in the Periodicals Room next to the Kershner Gallery. This is the second in a series of art talks to be held in the library.

Liz and Connie will discuss the benefits of adding original art to your home decor, purchasing art, mixing contemporary art with traditional decor and vice versa, designing an interior space around an art collection,  adding art to your interior design, and framing art to work with other design elements. The idea is to turn your home into a living space that showcases your art and your unique style and personality.

Liz Tardif is a curator for the Kershner Gallery, an art advisor and a founder of Cherry Street Art, which is a resource for art buyers and collectors. She is a lifelong artist and works in acrylic and oil paints.

Connie Cooper studied interior design at Michigan State University and has a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Her Connie Cooper Designs is a full-service interior design firm in Westport.

To attend, register online at the library website www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
