Fairfield Chamber to Present Health & Wellness Expo, March 12

Fairfield, Conn. – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Norma Pfriem Breast Center at the Park Avenue Medical Center, is proud to present the 2017 Health and Wellness Expo, bringing together, a wide variety of health and wellness exhibitors, who will provide the most current information about health and wellness, to attendees both young and old.  Also included this year, is a new educational component.  A 10-topic, 45 minute educational series, which will run throughout the day.

This free event is open to the public and will be held at the beautiful, brand-new, state-of-the-art Yale New Haven Health Park Avenue Medical Center, Trumbull, CT, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour inside the building, including the extensive art collection, as well as outside the building, with a walk through their attractively designed Healing and Meditation Garden.

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is so appreciative to be working in conjunction with the Norma Pfriem Breast Center as the host.  This stunning building is the perfect venue to host such an important educational exposition.  Food trucks will be onsite throughout the day, to serve attendees beverages and food items of their choice.

Collins Medical Equipment, which just celebrated its 85th Anniversary last year, is taking a lead role not only as the event sponsor, but helping to carefully organize and create an event which will be informative and educational at the same time.

Of special attention, and also held throughout the day, will be:

  • Hands-Only CPR & AED Training:  Anyone can learn how to help save a life in just 15 minutes!
  • Screenings:  Know your Numbers (Blood pressure and Glucose)

Lecture Series.  The Lecture series will be given throughout the day, each topic running for approximately 45minutes, starting at 11am.  Presenters will be available after each lecture, for continued conversations if needed.
