Fairfield Chamber Lecture on Concussions, March 1

Fairfield, Conn. – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and The Norma Pfriem Breast Center will host its sixth lecture in the new 2016-2017 series of nine “Evenings of Wellness” on March 1st.  This lecture topic is: The Truth about Concussions.

The lecture will be given by Michael Lee, M.D.

Dr. Lee has been board certified in Pediatrics since 1972 and has been credentialed as a Concussion ImPACT Test Consultant since 2005. He has lectured extensively throughout the world about concussions and is considered a preeminent authority on the topic of concussions. He published:  “Returning to Learning Following a Concussion” in 2013, which was used as the national guideline for the Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Lee’s affiliation is with Yale University, Bridgeport Hospital and the CT Children’s Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Lee will discuss the following important topics:

  • Signs, Symptoms & Solutions of Concussions
  • Post-concussion Syndrome and Return to Learning
  • Concussion Management Recommendations
  • Updates in Concussion Treatment
