Bridgeport, CT - The Downtown Cabaret Children’s Company presents "The Christmas Elf", which opened Nov. 11 & 12. It continues its run November 18 – December 23, Saturdays at 12noon & 2:30pm & Sundays at 1:00pm & 3:30pm. Closing Weekend: December 27 & 28 at 4:30pm.
Every Christmas, Santa employs countless helper elves to keep watch over the world’s kids to see who's being naughty and who’s being nice, but not everyone wants Christmas this year. Find out what happens when one clever elf is met by some concerned toys who are worried about being replaced in this brand new musical where fun and imagination come to life this holiday season.
The professional cast includes Maddy Alecia, Lance Anthony, Joe Cardozo, Cassie Carroll, Ashley DePascale, Taylor Hoffman, Nathan Horne, Benny Lublinsky, Cassidy Meehan, Andrea Pane, Jason Parry, Jessica Rahrig, Eric Regan. The production will feature Direction by Frank Root, Choreography by Abby Root, Musical Direction by Eli Newsom, Costume Design by Lesley Neilson-Bowman, Lighting Design by Axel Hammerman, and Sound Design by Chris Gensur. Jennie Davies serves as resident Production Stage Manager for DCT Children’s Theatre.
During each performance of The Christmas Elf you will have the opportunity to name our elf before the show! In the lobby before the show, you will see a holiday mailbox with name cards next to it. Write down the most craziest festive fun name you can think of and put the cards in the mailbox. One of our elves will collect the names 10 minutes before the show starts. The winning name will be announced on stage. Melissa and Doug have graciously donated a toy for the winner at every performances.

Performances run no longer than 75-80 minutes with a 10 minute intermission.
