Evening Peeper Prowl at CT Audubon April 10

Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield, will host an Evening Peeper Prowl Friday, April 10, from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

What’s teeny tiny, seldom seen, but often heard?  Give up? It’s the Spring Peeper Frog!!

Join organizers for this evening quest as the group listens for spring Peepers in the adjacent marsh and look for more secretive animals like spotted salamanders and frogs, as well as the shy and increasingly rare woodcock.

Boots, flashlights and warm attire are strongly suggested. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Cost: $6 for CAS Members, and $8 for nonmembers. Pre-registration required by April 8th. Please call 203-259-6305, ext. 109.

Visit Connecticut Audubon Society’s website at www.ctaudubon.org for a complete list of its exciting spring programs and special events.
