Gault Energy & Make-A-Wish Grant Stamford Boy's Wish

After more than a year of fundraising, Westport-based Gault Energy and Make-A-Wish Connecticut will celebrate the granting of a 7-year-old Stamford boy's wish -- an all-expenses-paid family vacation to Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas -- with a family-style barbecue. The company partnered with Make-A-Wish Connecticut in March 2014 to launch "Dollars for Dreams," a fundraising campaign designed to help the non-profit fulfill the 150 wishes it grants on average each year to children across the state battling life-threatening medical conditions.

With the average cost of granting each wish approaching $10,000, Gault Energy and Make-A-Wish Connecticut want to thank the company's more than 100 employees and thousands of customers for their generous donations, making it possible for Connor Armstrong and his family to enjoy a well-deserved respite from his ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) treatments.

The celebratory barbecue will take place Wednesday, June 24th, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Gault Energy & Stone's corporate headquarters, 11 Ferry Lane West, Westport, CT
