Questioning Protocol Wellness Talk @ Fairfield Library, Thurs. April 17

Learn how one mom dispensed equal doses of humor, humility, and corporate smarts to help her family navigate a health care crisis. Randi Redmond Oster recently wrote a book about her experiences and will visit Fairfield's Main Library to share some of her insights. She will talk about the top five tips, tools and tricks to empower patients and loved ones; how to gain control when a healthcare crisis seems overwhelming; how to create a high-performing healthcare team focused on the patient; and how to find a way to feel grateful when the world feels upside down. This Wellness presentation will take place on Thursday, April 17 at 10:00 am in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Oster is an award-winning writer, speaker and expert on health care reform. Prior to starting her own business in the health care industry, she worked in the corporate world for nearly 20 years, launching new products and businesses in aviation and finance. Her healthcare passion stems from her personal experience caring for her son who has Crohn's disease. Her first book, Questioning Protocol, described as an empowering toolkit and personal memoir, is being released in May of 2014.
