Planning in Case of Illness Program @ Fairfield Library, Wed. April 30

Do your children or other family members know what you want in the event of an illness? The importance of having "Advance Directives" or "Health Care Instructions" and designating a health care proxy will be explained Wednesday, April 30, at 7:00 pm in the Memorial Room at Fairfield's Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Learn from elder law specialist Greta Solomon why you need to discuss with your family what happens if you need assistance, where you would want to live in that case, as well as the management of your finances. Feel good about the arrangements of your choosing. Solomon is a principal and chair of the Cohen and Wolf law firm's Trusts & Estates, Elder Law and Tax groups.

This program is part of Money Smart Week @ your library, a partnership between the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago through which libraries provide financial literacy programs for all stages of life. Money Smart Week partners will be hosting their events April 5-12, but here at the Fairfield Public Library we are extending our programming throughout the month.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information on this and other programs, visit us online at: www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
