Twitter Overview at Fairfield Library, Oct. 1

Twitter is a social networking site used by rock stars, politicians, businesses, teenagers and, maybe, you! It is for anyone that wants to update others with 140-character messages called “tweets.” Learn the basics of setting up an account, following people and organizations, sending tweets and privacy settings. Join Merry Mao, the Fairfield Public Library and Town Web Master, for a demonstration of Twitter on Wednesday, October 1 from noon to 1:00 pm in the Rotary Room at Fairfield's Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Additional Midday with Merry programs this fall include “Introduction to Pinterest” on November 5 and “Skype” on December 10.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information on this and other programs, visit: www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
