“Autumn Nights”

Last year, I took a wonderful creative writing class at my school. I gained a colossal amount of knowledge on writing and had fun examining the works of different authors. The final project for the class was to research an author or poet we admired. We had to create a presentation about the author and try to create a work inspired by their style. I researched E. E. Cummings and was really inspired by his unique, non-traditional style of writing. I wrote the poem below inspired by his work.
