FWHS Teacher Colleen Kelly to be Honored April 21

Colleen A. Kelly, Ph D, founder of International Day (a school day at Ludlowe, then Fairfield High School, and now at Fairfield Warde characterized by dozens of guest speakers and special presentations) and nationally recognized scholar of Asian Studies while a member of Warde's Social Studies Department, will be added to the Fairfield Warde High School list of legendary faculty members on Tue., April 21.  She joins the following colleagues who spent the majority of their careers at Fairfield Warde High School/ Fairfield H. S./ Andrew Warde H. S.:
·         Charles T. Abraham
·         Jack Strauss
·         Fern Tetreau
·         Rick Natale
·         Bob Gillette
 
The ceremony, open to the public, will begin at about 2:45/3:00pm in the FWHS auditorium, 755 Melville Ave., Fairfield.
 
If you are a former students or colleague of Dr. Kelly's, the event organizers are collecting stories and testimonials in Colleen’s honor for inclusion in a permanent display binder.
