Fairfield, CT -- Rose M. Parisi, age 87, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Gelormino, she had been a lifelong Fairfield area resident. A graduate of Warren Harding High School, she was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Fairfield Public School System. Mrs. Parisi was a member of the Fairfield Retired Secretaries Association. She was an avid UConn Women's Huskies fan, loved to read and do crossword puzzles.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Kelley; a sister, Dorothy Sumski and her former husband Daniel Parisi. Survivors include a beloved daughter, Luann Kelley and her husband John F. Kelley of Wallingford; a cherished grandson, Timothy Kelley of Bristol; a devoted brother, Michael Gelormino of Fairfield and a loving niece, Lisa Talabac and her husband Michael of Stratford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may greet the family Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
