Paying for College Without Bankrupting Yourself

Fairfield, Conn. - With the ever-increasing cost of tuition, will putting your children through college be affordable?  While there are many different ways to finance higher education, parents often feel like they need to choose between risking their retirement or burying their children in debt.  Financial advisor Sean Flynn will explore efficient ways to save for college, different types of financing, and strategies to find a college that fits your budget.  Join the presentation on Tuesday, October 4 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Rotary Room at Fairfield's Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  This program is targeted to parents, but interested students are welcome too.  Registration is requested.

Fairfielder Sean Flynn is a financial advisor with Apella Capital. He has over nine years of experience in the financial industry. He is a graduate of Fairfield University.

Another upcoming Getting Ready for College Program offered this fall is “Why Choose a Community College?” on Monday, November 14.
