Estate Planning Seminar at Fairfield Woods Branch Library, Oct. 8

Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, will be hosting a seminar about “Is it Time to Revise Your Estate Plan?” on Saturday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m.

This seminar will explain the basic documents needed for an estate plan, and why they should be revised or reviewed.  The Last Will and Testament, choosing an Executor, and making sure your wishes are followed are just a few of the topics that will be discussed. Power of attorney will be reviewed, including a new law effective October 1, 2016 which will dictate changes formerly known as a Living Will.

The presenter for the seminar is Denise Mortati, an attorney with a practice in Fairfield and New Haven counties.  She specializes in estate planning, probate matters, and elder law issues.
