Divorce & Blended Families Discussion at Pequot Library, Nov. 2

Southport, CT – On Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Pequot Library presents two experts on divorce and blended families. Trevor Mullineaux, LMFT and Eric J. Broder, highly rated CT Attorney present: You're Divorced, Now What? This panel discussion will cover emotional, economic, and legal issues, plus their impact as you and your children move forward in your new life post-divorce.

Mullineaux, Blended Family Expert and Author, and Broder, Renowned CT Family Attorney will discuss: legal and emotional issues as you rebuild your life after divorce. Be prepared for a spirited and insightful evening. This event is free open to everyone.                                                                      

Trevor Mullineaux, LMFT is a Blended Family Expert who has experienced first-hand the challenges of blending families plus she has written and spoken about the process, and has been a therapist for countless families handling the often tricky blending process. Mullineaux is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Supervisor working in private practice in Southport and Stamford, CT. With over 10 years of experience, her specialty is treating blended families, couples, and individuals from an attachment and systemic perspective. Her new book Blending Families: Merging Households with Kids 8-18, published by Rowman and Littlefield, has received excellent reviews. Her first book, Forging Healthy Connections: How Relationships Fight Illness, Aging and Depression, was published in 2013. As a radio talk show host, she has interviewed top thinkers and innovators in the field of psychology, social sciences, and neuroscience on her show Keeping Connected. Her board positions include The Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport, WSHU, an NPR affiliate, and the MFT Advisory Board at Fairfield University.
