Young Adult Writing Workshops at Pequot Library

Southport, CT -- Teens are invited to Pequot Library to write in a supportive environment on February 4, March 4 and April 8, 2017. The workshops are led by the teen librarian, Christine Catallo. There will be 6-8, 15-minute writing periods. Before each writing period, a prompt will be given for inspiration. At the end of the workshop, teens are given the opportunity to share their work from the program with the group; however, sharing is not required. Participants will come away with inspiration for a longer work. A great way to hone writing skills! Free and open to all, ages 13-17.

Christine Catallo, MLIS, received her degree in English Literature from Franklin & Marshall College. Two of her short stories are published in the college's magazine, Alumni Arts Review. She is an avid reader and a passionate writer.
