Fairfield, CT -- George Karageorge, age 88, of Fairfield, beloved husband of 60 years to Argyro Karageorge, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017.
Born in Dichori, Greece, he is survived by his five children, a son-in law and a daughter in-law, four grandchildren, three siblings and many nieces and nephews and friends, too numerous to mention here individually.
A man of utmost integrity, he will surely be missed for the love and wisdom he so generously bestowed upon family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, with a Trisagion service at 1 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. directly in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport where the Rite of Burial will be officiated by Fr. Georgios Livaditis. His interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
