Fairfielder Frank Johnston Passes, Age 61

Fairfield, CT -- Frank A. Johnston, age 61, of Fairfield, beloved husband to Charlotte Page Johnston, passed away on February 22, 2017.

Born in Rochester, NY to the late Francis and Georgette Kubarek Johnston, Frank received his Bachelor's Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He had worked for 20 years at Elizabeth Arden in the fragrance division as Director of Package Development. Frank was a former member of Black Rock Congregational Church and a founding member of the men's Prayer Group. As a devout Christian, he dedicated his life to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed adventurous travel with his wife, Charlotte.

A devoted father, Frank will be missed greatly by his children, family and friends. In addition to his loving wife of 34 years, Frank's memory will be cherished by his three children, Bradley Allen Johnston, and his wife, Jacki, of Carmel, IN; Bryan Page Johnston, and his wife, Ali Lynn, of Black Rock; and Kelsey Ann Johnston, of Fairfield; four adored grandchildren, Luella, Goldie, Gemma, and Finn Johnston; and his sister, Denise Susan Johnston, of Avon, NY.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Greenfield Hill Congregational Church, 1045 Old Academy Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
