Fairfield, CT -- Representatives from the Town’s Department of Community & Economic Development were among those on hand on recently to welcome the incoming class of freshmen to the Fairfield University campus and the Town of Fairfield.
Fairfield University typically holds two orientation sessions each June so that incoming students and their families can learn more about campus life, student services and the surrounding community. This is the first year in which Town staff participated directly in the orientation fair, distributing maps and other information about the Town, local businesses and upcoming events. A second session is planned for June 27, and Economic Development staff will be there encouraging students and visiting parents to “Experience Fairfield.”
