Food Exchange for Book Fines @ Fairfield Library

Have a bunch of overdue items from the Library? This is the time to return them, just stop by your pantry on the way out the door! As part of Fairfield's 375th Anniversary celebration, the Fairfield Public Library will be hosting a "Food for Fines" drive to collect food for the Fairfield 375 Food Drive. For 5 days only, Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25, the Library will waive fines on overdue materials in exchange for food items. For each Library item returned, no matter how long it has been overdue, the Library will forgive all associated fines in exchange for a single food item listed on the Fairfield 375 Food Drive website http://ffldfooddrive375.org/donate-food/. This does not apply to overdue Library museum passes or lost or damaged materials.

The Main Library and Fairfield Woods Branch will gladly accept donations to the food drive even if you have no fines to be waived.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. For more information on this and other programs, visit: www.fairfieldpubliclibray.org or call 203-256-3160.
