School is back in session for Caroline House

Caroline House, at 574 Stillman Street, Bridgeport, is welcoming many returning students - as well as women and children who are new to the facility - to their first week of the 2014-2015 school year. Women are arriving prepared to learn and improve their English language and life skills to make a positive difference in their own lives… and inspire them to “pay it forward” to help their families and communities.

Caroline House is a non-denominational education center teaching literacy and life skills to economically disadvantaged immigrant women and children. Since opening its doors 19 years ago, Caroline House has nurtured and educated hundreds of women and children. All programs and services are provided free of charge. Grants, foundations and individual donors provide the financial support for the center.
