Sasquanaug Ass'n of Southport to Hold Annual Meet Nov. 16

The SASQUANAUG ASSOCIATION FOR SOUTHPORT IMPROVEMENT INC will have its Annual Meeting at 4:30 pm on Sunday, November 16, at the Eagle Hill School in downtown Southport. All are invited and refreshments will be served.

Would you like to help preserve the character of this unique village?

Preserve the history, beauty, charm, character of Southport village and keep this special harbor/shoreline vibrant.

Founded in 1944, the Sasquanaug Association continues with its mission statement: TO RECEIVE, ACQUIRE, HOLD AND ADMINISTER REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR IMPROVING AND BEAUTIFIYING THE VILLAGE OF SOUTH PORT CONNECTICUT (its beaches and historic waterfront.)

Help maintain Southport as an ideal place for active sports (running, sailing, walking, bicycling) and everyday enjoyment of this local, wonderful environment.

Events and properties the Sasquanaug Association continues to sponsor are the Blessing of the Fleet, the Christmas Walk, the Sea Lodge, Robinson Cottage and Southport Park.
