Fairfield, Conn. – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is accepting Vendor applications for its annual Summer Market on the Green which will be held on Sunday, June 11th from 10am-4pm, at the historic Old Town Hall Green, corner of Old Post Road and Beach Road.
The Green will be magically be once again transformed into an outdoor, open-air shopping Market, full of vendors providing a huge array of different products, clothing and household items, to meet the interests of every shopper.
Shopping is the focus … and this is the 3rd year for the Chamber’s annual open-air, pop-up market event. The Chamber anticipates crowds of attendees, as residents from Fairfield and the surrounding towns look forward to attending each year.
Exhibitor’s spots fill up fast (starting at $150 for a 10’x10’ space), and the Chamber’s goal is to feature more than 60 well-known and unique retail vendors so shoppers can visit their booths to say hello, look around, explore possible purchase items and have an opportunity to buy an endless array of fun and beautiful items. Nautical vendors always a plus for Fairfielders!
The Chamber wants to provide a special experience so shoppers can find high-quality items, including: summer-themed food items, delicious Greek oils, antique & restored furniture, plus a wide variety of retailers selling jewelry, beauty products, clothing, household items, and nautical items, all ready to purchase on the spot. And based on feedback, shoppers also like to get a big jump on gift items for the holidays. And for shoppers with children, the Chamber will provide face painting for kids, or for those adults who are young at heart!
To add to the attraction, there will also be well-known food trucks, offering the best variety of local foods for everyone to enjoy.
Publicity, social media and marketing will be placed far in advance of the event (March) to create wide community awareness. Vendors can also receive a discount, if they register and also participate in the Chamber’s Fall Market on the Green as well, on October 15th.
