Southport, CT – On Thursday, September 11, Pequot Library welcomed Eric Jacobsen, the newly appointed Musical Director and Principal Conductor of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony in Pequot’s Auditorium/Concert Hall. Jacobsen charismatically shared behind-the-scenes information about the adventurous new season for the symphony. The season is titled, “A Season of Epic Stories and Intimate Letters.”
Jacobsen, an accomplished cellist also performed with acclaimed pianist, Alan Murchie. Deborah Wong, Concertmaster for the GBD, performed a violin solo.
