Fairfield, Conn. - Gardeners, join the Fairfield Woods Branch Library at the Greenfield Hill Community Grange for a Seedling Exchange on Saturday, May 14 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Do you have an overabundance of plants you have started indoors? Would you like to try a vegetable you may not have grown before? Bring your seedlings to the Grange and exchange them for something new and different. Master Gardeners will be there to answer your questions. The Greenfield Grange is located at 1873 Hillside Avenue, Fairfield.
The Greenfield Grange is part of the national Grange organization and one of nearly 60 Granges in the state. Grange activities are focused around agriculture, community service and old fashioned fun. Neighbors and friends are welcome to join any of our events.
The Fairfield Wood Branch Library sponsors many “green” and gardening events and is happy to partner with the Greenfield Grange whenever we can.
