Bankwell Partners with Fairfield Museum to Support Field Trips Program

FAIRFIELD, CT – The Fairfield Museum and History Center has announced a new partnership with Bankwell, which is now supporting the Museum’s field trips program. Bankwell representatives were at the Museum this week to visit with students from Barnum School in Bridgeport on an educational field trip.

“We would like to thank Bankwell for its generous support,” said Fairfield Museum Executive Director Mike Jehle. “The company’s partnership enables the Museum to provide extraordinary learning opportunities to hundreds of students from underserved schools in Norwalk and Bridgeport free-of-charge.”

The Museum’s robust exhibitions, walking tours, workshops, and outreach programs provide students and teachers with hands-on activities that complement curriculum standards with interactive and memorable experiences. With the goal to make local connections with national and global themes, history becomes personal and engaging for students. This is especially important for children hailing from underserved communities in the region.

The Fairfield Museum is dedicated to providing impactful field trips for all students. This support from Bankwell allows the Museum to target outreach, and waive and reduce fees for schools that can benefit most.
