Fairfield County Bank Introduces Apple Pay

Fairfield County Bank has launched Apply PayTM. Both consumer and commercial customers of Fairfield County Bank can now enroll their Fairfield County Bank VISA® Debit Cards into the Wallet of all Apple Pay enabled Apple® devices.

Using the latest technology, Apple Pay provides Fairfield County Bank customers a more convenient and secure way to pay. With Near Field Communications, or NFC, customers simply “tap” their phones at the millions of participating in-store locations. Additionally, designed using proven security standards set by the payments industry, Apple Pay uses “tokens” so customers’ card numbers are never shared with merchants – card numbers are not even stored on the device or on any Apple servers. Further, using Touch IDTM or Passcode during each transaction provides added user authentication for even more security.

Apple Pay is a compliment to Fairfield County Bank’s digital banking solutions. Fairfield County Bank offers robust online banking, mobile banking, electronic bill pay, and other digital banking solutions.

“Our launch of Apple Pay is another demonstration of Fairfield County Bank’s commitment to providing customers the convenience and security they expect from us,” said Dan Berta, President of Fairfield County Bank.
