Rockwell Art & Framing Has Moved to Wilton Center

Wilton, CT -- Rockwell Art and Framing has announced its recent move. For almost 30 years, its flagship Wilton location has been nestled with the tennis courts and deli near Wilton High School. In order to accommodate changing times, Rockwell has moved into the hub of Wilton Center, at 151 Old Ridgefield Road. Providing an expanded environment for your custom framing needs, the new space near the Wilton Library is more than twice the size of the cozy original location. The increased gallery space will provide a splendid opportunity to showcase the talents of local artists.

Gallery Manager Michelle Barrett will continue to serve the custom framing needs of the Wilton community at the new location. With many years of design and photography experience, Michelle’s attention to detail and creative eye have been essential as a designer and framer.

Visit the new space at 151 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton for its official grand re-opening on September 8, 2016 from 5-8pm. The gallery will be opening the exhibition of the young and talented photographer Connor Golden. At age 12, using an iPhone and a borrowed camera, Connor began photographing cityscapes. Over the past few years, Connor has continued his love of cityscapes focusing on patterns, reflections, symmetry, and movement. Earlier this year, Connor's photographs earned him 1st and 2nd place in his division at the Wilton Arts Council’s Focus '16 photography contest.

"Cities are vibrant, yet gritty and chaotic, with many variables that change the scene in that moment. I enjoy the challenge of responding to those unpredictable conditions. Often, the results of chaos can create a great image." – Connor Golden

The event is free and open to the public. Rockwell Art and Framing of Wilton is located at 151 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton, CT 06897. Phone 203-762-8311.
