Election Day Fun at CT Audubon, Nov. 8

Fairfield, CT - The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield, CT will host an Election Day program for kids on Tuesday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

CAS Members: $35; Non-members: $40

For children ages 4 to 8

While voters head to the polls, participating kids will be venturing to the woods for fall fun and outdoor discovery at The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield. It’s the perfect time to explore the Larsen Sanctuary and investigate how nature is preparing for a change of seasons -- as the country prepares for a change of leaders. Then the group will head indoors to make nature crafts and learn about this year’s live animal candidates campaigning in the Center’s “Favorite Critter” election. After an up-close “meet and greet” with the slate of furry and not-so-furry contenders, kids will cast their votes and declare the winner.

Bring a lunch. Pre-registration is required. For more information and to reserve your spot, please call 203-259-6305, ext. 109, or go to www.ctaudubon.org/center-at-fairfield.
