DIY Craft & Sewing Sessions at Fairfield Woods Branch Library, Nov. 5

Fairfield, CT - The craft and sewing salons at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, are gaining in popularity as people realize how much fun and relaxing these programs can be.  Join the group on Saturday, November 5 at 10:00 am to create Beaded Napkin Rings in the Craft Salon and continue the fun at 1:00 pm in the Sewing Salon, to make holiday placemat inserts.

Dress up your table for a special dinner with one-of-a kind beaded napkin rings and placemat inserts.  These would make great gifts, too.  For the sewing session, you must know how to thread and work a sewing machine and follow a simple pattern.  Please register for both programs and a list of supplies for the placemats will be emailed to you.  The placemats are interchangeable and “sew” versatile!

Advanced registration is required due to the limited space.  All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.  For more information and to register for this event call 203-255-7308, or visit  www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org .  Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook: www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary.
