Fairfield Museum Seeking Memorabilia For New Exhibits

Fairfield, CT -- Fairfield Museum is working on several new exhibitions for 2017, including one about Fairfield in the 1960s and 1970s and another to commemorate the World War I Centennial. If you’d like to help the Museum brainstorm ideas or have memorabilia to share, please contact:

curator@fairfieldhs.org or call (203) 259-1598.

Please share this email with any long-time Fairfielders!

For the 1960s and 1970s exhibit, the Museum would be especially interested in:

  • Items of clothing that represent the style of the era, and photographs of people wearing those styles
  • Items reflecting popular culture (record albums, concert memorabilia, t-shirts, TV show themed items, toys)
  • Items relating to the Vietnam War, especially as it affected people in our region
  • Items relating to any social causes, protest or political movements of that era
