Stamford, CT -- Walk the Red Carpet at 7:00pm on Sunday evening Feb. 26th when The Avon Theater kicks off its Oscar Night Party festivities with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Prizes will be awarded for “Best Red Carpet Attire” and “Best 1967 Summer of Love-themed Attire”. Enjoy the LIVE telecast from Hollywood of the Red Carpet arrivals at 7:00pm. Celebrate the 89th Annual Oscar® telecast at 8:30pm with Host Jimmy Kimmel. A gourmet buffet supper will be served right after the Best Supporting Actor Award is announced. Giovanni Gentile, owner of Stamford’s popular Capriccio Café and Bar Rosso, has designed a wonderful menu for this special Oscar celebration.
All proceeds from the annual Oscar Party support the general operations of the Avon as well as seven college scholarship awards to area high school students.
