Visual & Performing Artists College Admissions Guidance at Fairfield Library, April 5

Fairfield, CT - Are you interested in pursuing education in the visual and performing arts in college? Not sure whether to focus on a conservatory or music program within a larger university or an art school or an art degree in a liberal arts college?

Educational consultants Vicki Boudin and Joan Franklin will explore the differences between various arts and music courses of study. They will review the unique requirements of each, including online and in-person auditions and portfolios. Learn how to navigate the additional components that go beyond a traditional college application. Join the group on Wednesday, April 5 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Rotary Room at Fairfield's Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. This program is designed for high school students and their parents. Registration is requested.

Dr. Vicki Boudin and Dr. Joan Franklin, licensed psychologists and independent educational consultants, are the founders of College Docs in Fairfield. They assist high school students and their parents through the often complex college admissions process. A primary focus of theirs is working with students planning to major in the visual and performing arts.
