Boy Scout Badge Day at CT Audubon Fairfield, April 1

Fairfield, CT -- The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, is hosting a Boy Scout Badge Bonanza on Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to noon

Boy Scouts, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and Webelos: Don’t miss this great opportunity to earn a new badge….or two! Join Connecticut Audubon Society’s teacher/naturalists as they lead scouts on an exploratory hike through The Connecticut Audubon Society’s beautiful Fairfield Larsen Sanctuary, all while satisfying badge requirements.

The badges to be worked on are: Boy Scout – “Bird Study;” Webelos – “Into the Wild” and “Into the Woods;” Bear – “Fur, Feathers and Ferns;” Tiger – “Tiger in the Wild;” and Wolf – “Wolf Adventure: Paws on the Path.” Be sure to dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and insect repellent.
