Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield Public Library is hosting Isabella Green on Monday, April 3 at 7 pm. She will be discussing her book, which is based on a true story, Solitary Odyssey of a Female Kind. The author talk will be in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.
Ms Green will discuss her memoir and present a slideshow of her travels through 12 countries. Her story of backpacking alone around the world gives insight into what it was like for a young woman to serve in the Persian Gulf War and how she dealt with the experience of post-traumatic stress disorder afterwards. Traveling through many different cultures and religions helped in her quest for healing.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. Advanced registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
