WHS Presents Two New Family Workshop Programs, April 1&15

Westport, CT -- Westport Historical Society presents two new family workshop opportunities, on April 1 and April 15 as follows:

Saturday with the Society: Family Workshop Series - APRIL 1

Westport Historical Society’s proudly hosts a family workshop series called “Saturday with the Society”. The workshop series is geared for  children, ages 6-12, and their families. On April 1 from 10 -11:30 am the theme is crafting Victorian cameo silhouettes to celebrate a vintage craft used in our April exhibit on the Danbury Raid. Children will help in making their own snack. Members $10, Non-members $12 and a Sibling Discount of $5. Saturday with the Society: Family Workshop Series - APRIL 15

Westport Historical Society’s proudly hosts a family workshop series called “Saturday with the Society”. The workshop series is geared for children, ages 6-12, and their families. On April 15 from 10 -11:30 we will spend the morning at WHS with local chefs Ramin Ganeshram and Mia Wiggers creating handsome marzipan hedgehogs just as colonists would have in the eighteenth century. Children will also take a turn churning butter and other tasks Connecticut colonists performed in the 1700s. Members $10, Non-members $12 and a Sibling Discount of $5.
